1. Owning and driving the “Win in store” programme ensuring:
   1. Sampling programme is in place
   2. Field Marketing Team are fully briefed
   3. Promotional support plan is in place (CheckOutSmart)
   4. Effective budget management – no overspend
   5. Performance is monitored & evaluated with Sales Team on an ongoing basis & reported regularly
   6. Recommend alternative approach where necessary

2. Securing a Sampling support system that fulfils our ongoing requirements through agencies and direct staff for:
   1. In-store customer sampling
   2. Guerrilla sampling
   3. Event support and sampling

3. Developing and managing the Sampling Plan:
   1. Ensuring it delivers against objectives and priorities
   2. Keeping it up to date and visible to the Sales team
   3. Staying on budget
   4. Managing the Sampling staff including briefing
   5. Co-ordinating collateral for in store sampling events
   6. Evaluating and reporting on sampling effectiveness
   7. Evaluation and fulfilment of relevant third-party sampling opportunities

4. Production and management of all marketing collateral ongoing and for specific activations (leaflets, t-shirts, costumes, windows, mailers, stationery, etc). Working with external agencies and ensuring brand merchandise is up to date and in stock.

5. Oversee competitor monitoring and responsibility for analysis and reporting to the business relevant competitor activity

6. Supporting the marketing team with the day to day execution of marketing plans to achieve the annual marketing objectives this may include:
   • Liaising with key marketing agencies
   • Covering social media presences in periods of absence
   • PR activity
   • Digital/website/social activity
   • Events (trade & consumer)
   • Experiential activity
   • Trade/Shopper marketing
   • Advocate management
   • NPD
   • Campaigns

7. Managing Marketing Administration
   1. Reviewing and responding to all marketing enquiries including collaborations, support, charity donations etc.
   2. Evaluating and recommending the appropriate action for potential brand partnership opportunities or relevant charity partners.
   3. Raising POs on the system, logging on the budget tracker and issuing to supplier
   4. Managing the brand collateral budget

In addition to the duties and responsibilities outlined above, the jobholder will be required to perform other duties assigned by the Marketing Director from time to time.
